TVC Academy Tutoring Team

TVC Academy tutors possess a wide range of skills, expertise and education in a variety of academic and enrichment areas.  Although teaching credentials are not required, many TVC Academy tutors are certified teachers or have earned college or university degrees.

Great tutors are often ordinary people with extraordinary abilities to teach, mentor and guide others.

Prospective tutors need not attend Thornapple Valley Church or have any religious affiliation.  However, to ensure the safety of the students we serve, tutors must adhere to all applicable TVC Children’s Ministry policies, including but not limited to submitting an application, completing a background check, personal interview, and orientation before being approved.
